Admission and registration.

Kindergarten Admission.

  • KG1 kids who are four (4) complete years old are eligible for admission.
  • KG2 kids who are five (5) complete years old are eligible for admission.

Grade One Admission.

Grade 1 students who are six (6) complete years old are eligible for admission.

Grades 2 to 12 Admission.

  1. Candidate students should have passed the previous grade and should be excellent and well-behaved.
  2. Candidate students should sit for an admission test in English Language, Mathematics and Science and be interviewed after the release of the results.
  3. Students should abide by the school uniform.
  4. Students should respect and abide by internal policies and regulations at all times. In case of any violations discipline rules issued by the Yemen Ministry of Education as well as ABIS will be applied duly.

Required documents for new students.

  • Four (4) passport size photos of the student.
  • Yemeni students should submit the birth certificate.
  • A copy of the vaccination card.
  • Transfer certificate issued from Yemeni Ministry of Education for the new students who are moving from other schools.
  • Certificate issued by the previous school for students joining from grade 2 to 12.
  • Report cards from the previous school for students who are transferring from other Government and Private schools from grade 2 to 12.
  • Grade 8 & 9 school certificates for students admitted in grade 10.
  • The student’s school records for the students who are admitted in grades 2 to 12.

Additional requirements.

If the student is suffering from a specific medical condition, sickness, or prone to allergies a letter from a registered medical practitioner, detailing the condition and precautions to be taken, should be submitted to school.

ABIS has the right to deny admission if the school is unable to provide first-aid and necessary medical care within the school premises for students with special conditions.
