Your child continues to develop a wide range of skills in kindergarten, including physical, social, emotional, language and literacy, and thinking (cognitive) skills. Kindergarten education is the first building block, and the foundation of a child’s character building for the future.
At ABIS while focusing on the first steps of recognizing the alphabet, phonetic sounds, numbers, colors, music, children are allowed much play and activity time, inside the and outside the class room. Our KG teachers spend more time in developing communication and group activity among the children, that builds up confidence and respect for each other. We give much attention to teaching good manners, respect, behavior, use of polite language in the class with friends and teachers.
We at ABIS:
01.
Help the child to develop social, emotional and cognitive skills which are essential for their future academic success.
02.
Provide children with the foundation for reading, writing, drawing, number games, to foster critical thinking in the child.
03.
Working in groups, teaches them to be cooperative, respect each other, resolving conflicts, and leadership skills.
04.
We allocate adequate time in and out of the class room for play and physical activity and exploration which is essential for their development.
05.
We allow them to spend much time in storytelling, singing, and watching children’s movies with songs, while building up their love for learning about the world around them.
