The students in the HIGH school (11 – 12) are expected to:
Inside the classroom:
Punctuality. Be on time at the beginning of the class.
Ensure all material related to the subject are brought to school. (Pen, pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, text books, note books, diary, mathematical instrument box, etc..).
Keep the classroom clean. Avoid eating and drinking inside the class room. Bottle of drinking water is allowed.
Remain quiet in the class and avoid inciting others to misbehave.
Take the permission of the teacher when he/she wants to go outside the classroom.
Listen carefully and participate effectively in the class.
Maintain the classroom items (such as the desk & chair) in good condition. Any student who intentionally damage class room equipment will be fined.
Indecent language against a colleague or the teacher will be seriously dealt, with a written notice to Parent.
When there are Prayer breaks:
Get ready to pray during the prayer time and make Wudu’ orderly and quietly.
Bring your own prayer rugs and clothes (for the girls) and keep them clean.
Preserve prayer morals.
Commit to pray with the other students.
Break time:
Walk in the designated ways in an orderly manner.
Utilize the snack shop facilities, and be in the queue until served.
Keep all places clean and throw trash in the designated bins.
At the end of the break head to the classroom quietly once the bell rings.
General rules:
Students of High school are the cream of ABIS. Therefore, High school students are constantly reminded to be an example in their conduct, attitude, and manners to the junior students at all times.
In case of absence, the student’s parents should notify the school.
Students should not carry cash and valuables to school, except pocket money.
Boys should cut their hair and girl students should tie their hair.
Rings and chains are not allowed. Nail polish is also not allowed inside the school.
Sports uniform should be worn only when the students have P.E classes.
Chewing gum during classes is not allowed.
Be punctual; on time early in the morning. In case any student comes late, he/she should take permission from the Deputy to enter the class.
Otherwise, the school will send a text message to inform the student’s parents of their son/daughter’s absence.
Abide by the school’s uniform policy.
Keep the uniform clean and tidy.
Weird haircuts are not allowed for the boys.
Costumes are not allowed unless permitted on specific days.
Mobile phones and electronic devices are not allowed inside the school.
